Why doesn't the manufacturer modify its vehicles?

When producing ECUs the manufacturers often need to agree on acceptable compromises concerning power output and fuel characteristics. As can be noticed in our figures manufacturers mainly rely on climatic conditions.

Furthermore, the fuel quality is not the some in every country (i.e. a lower octane number). Nevertheless, fuel consumption needs to be as little as possible and the manufacturer is required to conform to official emission standards.

An additional reason for not producing an optimal ECU is to meet customer’s requirements concerning maintenance and financial reasons (i.e. car tax, insurance).

These are the reasons why we are able to modify various engine characteristics, thus increase the power output of a car, and meet individual customers’ requirements.

Our modification of the speed-torque characteristics has an enormous effect on vehicle response. In addition, if customers maintain the same manner of driving, the fuel consumption decreases in most cases.
