When we tune your vehicle we do not exceed the normal engine range parameters and all additional components given by the manufacturer. With a regular manner of driving there will be no additional mechanical wear.

We calculate your car’s ideal combustion process and optimize its torque. Various parameters, such as injected fuel quantity, charging pressure, beginning of injection, and so forth will be adjusted.
In general, chip tuning means that your engine performance will be enhanced through torque increase. This means your engine will have more power when you need it, namely when passing another car or speeding up.

Do I have to make a legal registration of the tuning?

Will there be additional costs concerning the insurance agency?
Performance enhancement requires legal registration and additional insurance fees. Responsibility rests with the driver!
How long do you issue warranty for the installed chip?
You can decide for yourself how long you would like NSA to issue warranty for your car.
We issue life-long warranty for our product and mechanical components.
Is the tuning noticeable from the outside?
No. But, the motor power can be tested at a motor power testing station or verification of the new software parameters. It is not noticeable at the ECU and can not be tested with diagnostic systems.
Will the car heat up easier than before?
The oil temperature will minimally increase (only under full load). E.g. the Audi A4 TDI’s temperature increases by 8 degrees.
Does the chip tuning decrease the car’s life span?
When we tune your car we do not exceed the normal engine range parameters and all additional components given by the manufacturer. With a normal manner of driving there will be no additional mechanical wear.
Why does not the manufacturer optimize the car’s engine by him/herself?
The manufacturer produces a car for a global market. In other countries the fuel capacity does not conform with the European norms. Also driving in elevated areas may affect combustion in a negative way. However, these are aspects which are not taken in consideration within Europe. Here, the engine spread for factory vehicles will be taken into consideration. After the car has been manufactured it might be tested on a motor power testing station and the power output needs to be increased. Therefore, there are production tolerances provided by the manufacturer.
Do I need to change my braking system becaue of the performance enhancement?
The Technical Inspection Agency guarantees 20% more power than the strongest engine with this system has.
Are there any particularities concerning automatic-transmission vehicles?
No. Automatic-transmission vehicles feature a different ECU, but the performance enhancement is not affected. The automatic-transmission will be adjusted by us.
Is this process reversible?
The original software is always saved and can be uploaded to your ECU at any time. Naturally, the process can be reversed whenever it is needed.
